About Kevin
Kevin is a Colorado native, a Marine Corps Veteran and an experienced former wrestling coach. He remains an active member of the Marine Corps League volunteering time for the organization’s functions including community service, fundraising, and Toys for Tots. His greatest interest is in people as he values authenticity and quality personal relationships, many he maintains across the country and even internationally.
Kevin earned his B.A. in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. His clinical foundation includes trainings with pioneers like Dr. Bessel van der Kolk (The Body Keeps the Score) and Dr Frank Anderson. In addition, training specific to men sexually abused as boys with Rick Goodwin, MSW of Men & Healing.

Kevin currently works as a clinician in group practice at Project Ember Initiative in Colorado Springs, CO and specializes in the treatment of male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. In addition, Kevin is the founder of Unbreakable Men CO, facilitating the only active in-person male survivor support group in southern Colorado and the surrounding area. The group also meets once a month internationally online.
His expertise is further highlighted by his role as a consultant for 1in6.org*, a leading national organization and subsidiary of Zero Abuse Project (ZAP)*, dedicated to supporting male survivors through dispelling myths, increasing awareness, and educating professionals. As a male survivor, He carries a certain understanding of the burdens and challenges of men who have been sexually abused as boys.
